Boot Camp Assistant not restarting into windows install

Hi Guys,

I have been trying to install Windows 10 on my Macbook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015).

Bootcamp Assistant creates the USB, a partition and then restarts but

not into the windows install just back to the normal Mac login screen.

I have tried using known good USB's to boot into and install Win 10 but

for some reason this doesn't work on the Macbook Pro.

I assume the ability to boot from USB is switched off but I don't know where or how to switch back on.

Can you verify that no USB hubs are in use, or no other external storage is connected? Is the current USB a USB2 device?

No. Your Mac supports USB boot for both OS X and Windows, since it has no built-in Optical drive.

Hi Loner T,

I just got it working using a modified solution at this link: Enable Bootcamp to install from usb for OSX 10.9**WORKS**

Modified step 4 from

sudo codesign -fs - /Applications/Utilities/Boot\ Camp\ Assistant.app

to

sudo codesign -fs /Applications/Utilities/Boot\ Camp\ Assistant.app

A lot of work just to boot using a USB.

Thanks for reply
