Macbook 2009- Not working

Hello everyone

I have just found in the loft a Macbook 2009 White Laptop. I have charged it up, but when i use it, the screen just randomly will go black.

I was thinking of selling it, but i don't know what part it would need or what would need doing it to to make able to work again.
