iPad safari confining web site to half screen width

Safari on iOS 8.4 on an iPad or iPhone 6 displays incorrectly in China, but okay in other countries such as the UK, USA and Europe.

Any clue as to why, as I've absolutely no idea what could be causing it especially, as it seems to be specifically located to China at the moment.

The Web site is responsive, and uses WordPress 4.2.4. The meta tag viewport setting is: <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1">

That's not the problem with iPad or iPhone, I guess. Have you tried using other iPads and iPhones?

Many thanks for the reply, but the Web site being viewed is the same version. There isn't a different version for different countries.

I have resolved this issue.

I have spoken to a number of organisations in China and for some reason by default their devices had JavaScript disabled.
