transfer pics from album to camera roll

You can't move photos from an album into the Camera Roll album. If you want to copy them into it then one option is to open the photo full screen, tap the Edit button top right, and tap Duplicate and Edit, and then tap 'cancel' bottom right on the edit screen - you should get a duplicated copy of the photo in the Camera Roll album.

(You won't be able to delete photos from albums synced from a computer without resyncing, synced photos can't be deleted directly in the Photos app.)

Another option is to select the pictures you want from the Album and email them to yourself. When you download them in the iPhone they will show up on Camera Roll.
