Apple Mail suddenly moving legitimate emails to junk folder

on my iMac running 10.9.5, Apple Mail Version 7.3 (1878.6), and my macbook running OS X 10.10.4, since the weekend many legitimate emails are being sent to the junk folder. So I changed preferences so junk should stay in the inbox, and it's still going to the junk folder. It's set so previous recipients etc are not junk, but people who email me many times a day are suddenly being diagnosed as junk and sent to the junk folder.

Any thoughts?

thanks, but that's not it. I've turned the junk filter OFF and still emails from people we receive emails from every day are going straight to the junk folder.

I've set rules so that any emails from previous recipients go to the inbox and they still arrive in the junk folder.

What color are they, if they are Brown, Mail marked them but if they are Black the email provider marked them and Mail followed orders. Fixing requires knowing who decided they were junk, and how your Mall preferences are set.

All of a sudden over 700 legit emails are showing in my junk folder and they all seem to be from my .mac email address!
