Q: automatically switching between wireless and thunderbolt network

How can the system can identify to which network it is connect either wireless or Thunderbolt and switch off the other one.

    Hello KingMahesh,

    I understand that you would like to know which network connection you are using at any given time. That is easy with a little bit of setup.

    To get that setup, you will want to use Network Locations. You can setup a Network Location to only have a Wi-Fi connection and another to be wired through your Thunderbolt ethernet adapter. Take a look at the article below on creating a new Network Location. To remove the networks connections that you do not want, simply highlight that connection on the left side and click the ( - ) minus button to remove it. Once you have set this up, to change networks would mean that you need to go to System Preferences > Network and then select the location that you want to use at a given time.
