From what I understand, you are not seeing all your purchases form your iPhone show up on your iMac. Let's see if we can get them to show up.
Once of the first things I would look for is to see if you have Automatic Downloads turned on. Take a look at the first article to ensure that when you make a purchase on one device, it will download everywhere else. Another setting to check is to make sure that you have iCloud music library checked on both your iPhone and iMac. This will keep things looking the same on both devices.
