VoiceOver doesn't read the phrases in the chat lines of Viber

Hi!

Today, 05 Aug 2015, Viber was updated. I use iPhone 4s running iOs 7.1.1. After Viber was updated its chat lines cannot be read by VoiceOver. VoiceOver reads everything in Viber but the chats. It doesn't matter if I chat with one person only or I chat in group. I just doesn't hear the words written by my interlocutors. VoiceOver even reads the hour of the phrase and if it is only delivered or seen but it doesn't read the phrase itself.

How can I solve this very unpleasant problem? I use Viber every day and now it seems I have no Viber.

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.1

Try contacting them directly here's the link: https://support.viber.com/customer/portal/emails/new

iMessage works very well with voiceOver if you want to use that in the mean time.

Thanks for your reply! It was very helpful to me.

I put through Viber support team today and they even answered to me that they will mean this problem at the first update of Viber. Obviously I am not the only one user having this problem. I hope this is not standard answer by them and they will care about this issue in fact.

I can use iMessage only when I chat with iOs users and most of my contacts are Android users.

Thank you once again! I will tell if the problem be solved really.

No problem, any time I come across an app that is voiceOver in accessible I email support right away.

Sorry, I meant the support for the app. Apple does have an acessibilty phone number that works in the U.S. they helped me when I contacted them about a voiceOver issue in safari a little while back. They also have an email. Again the Apple contact is more for their products I believe though.
