how to connect a different music player to apple tv first generation
I can not use my ATV first generation as an airplay for my speakers using a different music player (instead of iTunes)
It will only work with iTunes

The first generation Apple TV doesn't support AirPlay
try checking out airfoil seem to recall getting that to work though the free version only worked for a few min before it had added statics to the sound to get people to buy the full version
