Q: List of IP Address to whitelist for OSx Software Updates

We have a server that lives behind a firewall and in order to receive OSx Software Updates we must whitelist specific IP Address on the firewall. I found the following article https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202943 however, we are still having issues connecting through the App Store to check for updates. Can we get a list of IP Address or URLs & ports that we can permit on our firewalls.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

From your post I understand that you're trying to whitelist specific ports on your server in order to allow OS X to update its software. For OS X 10.8 and higher software update uses the following:

Port TCP or UDP Service or Protocol Name RFC Service Name

443 TCP Secure Sockets Layer (SSL, or "HTTPS") 2818 https
TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products - Apple Support
