I agree with all said.

• If you are ON YOUR WAY and get stuck in traffic, a phone call to ANY person with which you have an appointment is in order = common courtesy and they likely will wait on you because they then know the facts of the particular situation
• If you have the foresight to pose a question here, I'm betting you can figure out a way to leave 10 minutes EARLIER to be on time!

If it is an Apple store class, they will not wait.

If it is a one-to-one appointment, they will likely cancel the appointment if there are other customers scheduled and present. If no one is scheduled and waiting they may wait for you.

Keep in mind they are very busy and being late impacts their time and those scheduled after you. At best, they will wait for you but truncate your appointment when the scheduled time is due to end.
