Aug 7, 2015 2:53 PM in response to Nielby bear8870,Thanks Niel, but the whole point is to use snapchat on my iPod...I don't want it on my computer. Another useless item from Apple...I do appreciate your help...just doesn't apply in my situation. I let my kids borrow my iPod to do the snapchat thing so if I can't use it on the iPod it is useless. I wish the sales reps at the Apple store would tell you these things before you purchase the item...had I known I would have paid a little extra and upgraded to the 5th gen.

Aug 7, 2015 2:58 PM in response to bear8870by Niel,Even though you don't want it on your computer, you need to at least temporarily download it there as part of the process of seeing if you can get a version compatiible with your iPod touch. Note that there's no guarantee that applications will remain available in the iTunes App Store, so if it gets removed from there, you'll need to have a copy in your iTunes library to reload it.
