Not able to delete pictures form iPhone 6 which are copied from Windows laptop

Hello,

Can anyone please help me in deleting the pictures from my iPhone 6?

The thing is, when I bought this iPhone I transferred the data (Pictures & Videos) from my Samsung note 2 to iPhone.

How I did this is, firstly I transferred the data from Note 2 to Laptop and then Laptop to iPhone 6.

Now, the storage is full and I wanted take backup of those pictures in my laptop and and delete all pictures from iPhone, but I could not find the way of deleting those pictures and videos.

I tried syncing the iPhone with iTunes, but I can not see the pictures which were transferred from Laptop.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Rashmi

You delete them by synching again with iTunes. The procedure below is copied from Sync photos from your computer to your iOS device using iTunes - Apple Support

If the photos are no longer on the computer you will need to use the method in the link in the final line below (Delete photos and video synced from iTunes when you can’t access the originals - Apple Support)

Also, those photos are not included in an iPhone backup. If the only copy you have is on the phone, you will need to use a 3rd party utility to get a copy of them before you delete them. One such utility is https://www.wideanglesoftware.com/touchcopy/

  1. In iTunes, locate and click on your device.
  2. Click Photos.
  3. Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
To delete all synced photos, deselect "Sync Photos from" and, when asked, click "Remove photos."
  4. Click Apply.
