iTunes 12.2.1(.16) is preventing iMac from sleeping when not playing music or video

The latest iTunes 12.2.1(.16) is preventing the iMac from sleeping even while not playing music or video. Library sharing is disabled. If not actively playing music or video, iTunes should not prevent sleep. This appears to happen after turning visualizer on and off with the Remote app on iPhone or iPad. Screen blanks as it should, when visualizer is off and after the screen timeout, but iMac doesn't sleep.
