Q: SOLVED my iMatch and Apple Music Crisis!
SO. I have had a problem firstly uploading successfully my iTunes to iCloud, and then secondly downloading music from iCloud onto my iPhone to make it available offline.
First Problem was solved by:
1. Deleting my iCloud library
2. Purchasing iMatch
3. Re-uploading my iTunes library onto iCloud Library.
Secondly problem.
I was unable to download some playlists from iCloud and was getting the message that "The item you have chosen to download is unavailable" (something similar to that wording)
Turned out that there were a selection of songs that had been improperly labeled in iTunes. The 'Kind' of music was listed as either 'Protected AAC audio file', or 'Purchased AAC audio file'.
I found that when I tried to play these tracks on iTunes the 'Kind' was automatically was corrected. i.e was changed to Apple Music (As it had previously added to iTunes from 'Apple Music', or to AAC audio file.
It seems that there must be a bug in the way that iMatch uploads tracks/ or tags your music in iTunes and therefore wasn't allowing my iPhone to download these song (or the whole playlist for some reason) from the iCloud.
(I then went through my whole iTunes holding down the right arrow on my keyboard to skip songs to make sure they autocorrected the 'Kind' of music they were listed under)
It appears that after removing these songs from the playlist, I am now able to download the whole playlist so as its available offline. I am yet to experiment about re adding the tracks that I had previously removed.
I wanted to write this up incase it helps anyone else as I had almost pulled the majority of my hair out!!!!
