Q: Can't attach or email newer photos since iLife '11

I have an early 2008 MacBook Pro running OS X Yosemite 10.10.4.

Ever since I was updated to iLife '11 from iPhoto, I have been having issues accessing my library. If I go into iPhoto, I can see all my pictures. However, if I got into an email or on Facebook and try to attach a photo, it's not showing any photos from before the upgrade to iLife '11. Any thoughts please?

Thanks,

Suzanne

If you want to email a photo select it in iPhoto, click on the Share button at the bottom of the window and then select Mail.

That will open a new email with the selected photo(s) attached.  For Facebook click on the Facebook button.

    Hi OT,

Thanks for your response. That does mostly help. Just to clarify...is there no way to do it the other way around - go into mail or FB first and attach photos? That used to be possible before iLife '11 - did that change? Sometimes I post pics in FB groups and there is no option to do that so not sure how to handle those situations...

No.  To get the title and description to be included in the email body one must start from iPhoto.
