HI, I am having a problem with sending text replies from the I watch to just one of my contacts, all others are fine. when I receive a message from this person it is in English yet if I go to reply all the presets and any dictated text I go to send back are in Japanese? If I use the iPhone to reply it's fine and all in English? Big problem as the contact is the wife lol

Jonathan thanks but I have checked all language and keyboard settings, I have also disconnected and done a full repair/installation on the I watch too but it is still just doing it with the 1 contact???
Try also deleting all previous Messages conversations with your wife and then starting a completely new one.
Also try deleting and replacing her contact record in Contacts on your iPhone before starting the new conversation - and with an iPhone and Apple Watch restart in between.
Did that on the watch, her iPhone iPad and my iPhone and iPad and started again, but still replies on my watch in Japanese!!!!
