If the computer originally shipped with Mac OS X 10.6.8 or earlier, when you reach step 5, insert its original disk, restart with the C or Option key held down, use the Disk Utility to erase the internal drive, and install a fresh OS.

Aug 7, 2015 8:28 AM in response to Nielby lllaass,That does not work with a 2010 Mini whose EFI firmware has been updated for internet recovery.If That is your case then just boot to recovery,as Neil's "here" link says and format the HD and reinstall the the OS

Snow Leopard is not available as a download (and never has been), you need to order the DVD.
