Can you use iPad charger on iwatch
or iphone charger that plugs into the wall socket. The piece into which the usb end connects.

Yes - the Apple Store shows both the:
- Apple 5W USB Power Adapter (iPhone)
- Apple 12W USB Power Adapter (iPad)
as being compatible with both the 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch when used in conjunction with the Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Cable.
