It sounds as if people in your contacts are receiving emails that appear to be coming from you, but you never sent them. Is that correct?
There are a couple of possibilites that can cause this issue - either someone has gained access to your email account and truly is using it to send email, or someone is "spoofing" your email, making it look like it is coming from your account when in fact it is not.
If your email account's security has been compromised, the best thing you can do is to change the password controlling access to it. The following article describes making passwords secure for Apple IDs - If you think your Apple ID has been compromised - Apple Support While your email may not be an Apple ID, the same principles apply. Contact your mail service provider if you need help changing that password.
The other possibility is that emails are being sent from a different account from yours but are being made to look as though they come from you. This article describes spoofing among other things, and how to tell if an email is spoofed - Identifying fraudulent "phishing" email. People who receive such emails can use the technique in the section titled Findo out who the email is really from to tell if the email is really being sent from your account.
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Be well.
