LKFS Meter in Final Cut ProX
Is there a plugin for a LKFS meter in Final Cut Pro X?
PP has one. They also wrap the CC file into the MXF. FCPX developers take note....
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.4.7), FCPX latest

Assuming there's no real difference between LUFS and LKFS, this plugin seems to work in FCPX and Logic:
I suppose if you know how to read it - it could be helpful. It's beyond me.
I still think you cannot beat the Multimeter that comes with FCPX (Logic) [located under Audio > Specialized]. It's clear, concise, handles correlation, peaks, RMS, and includes a goniometer. It can sample and hold data. All very useful stuff.

funny. In all of my many years of doing broadcast audio, I'd never heard of this LKFS thing. Had to look it up. Guess we skated for decades buy just using the giant swinging needle VUs on ye ancient Ampex and RCA boards.
Apparently there is no plugin for FCPX. I found a couple of stand alone apps in the $400 range. They seem to run analysis, process, rebuild and then hand off the file to your DAW. I didn't bother to look for plugins for Logic.
