Where do you get an option to restore to backup

We have just got a new Iphone i have updated the software on it, and signed into the apple ID the photos are there but the contacts are not, how do i get the contacts from the backup? any help much appreciated.

Do you have Contacts enabled on your iCloud? Go to Settings > iCloud and see if Contacts is green (on).
