Verizon.net my email account. Now doesn't show on laptop but on iphone 5c ok. Went to verizon store to reset password to recieve mail on phone. Now shows on phone but not laptop. Went to add another account put user name in v address in and password and get error message to reopen many times. The mail program shows a google and icloud account. what is next step?

If I understand your issue, it sounds like your Verizon email account is working on your iPhone, but has not been set up yet on your Mac. Here's how to set up the email account on your computer:

Set up Mail
When you first open Mail, you're prompted to set up your email account if you haven't already.
Choose your email provider from the list. If you don't see your email provider, click "Add Other Mail Account." Then click Continue.
Mail asks for your name, email address, and email password. Fill in this information, then click Create.
Mail completes your account settings based on the email address you provide, and in Yosemite, Mail automatically maintains them.
If Mail doesn't recognize your email provider, it might ask you for additional settings.
