Aug 8, 2015 12:43 AM in response to Alberto Marbanby Tom Wolsky,RRelaunch the application holding Option-Command. Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing?

Aug 8, 2015 1:54 AM in response to Tom Wolskyby Alberto Marban,On the Pic 1 you can see my mouse on the Font before I click it (The letters are highlighted already)
On the Pic 3 (no good quality because I had to use my cell phone to take a pic, because my screen copier did not work here, I don't know why) but you can see after I clicked on the Font area, and nothing is showing, only a clear black space where the fonts supposed to be. You can move/drag the mouse and select a letter yes, but still you can't see anything. And that is the point, I can't see any letter there and I can see the letter in the end after I selected it.
Now you understand my problem?;

Aug 8, 2015 2:04 AM in response to Alberto Marbanby Tom Wolsky,You reset your preferences? I can't see why this would happen. Can you select fonts in a word processing application.

Aug 8, 2015 2:17 AM in response to Tom Wolskyby Alberto Marban,I use Text Edit, Notes, etc and I can select or show the fonts (command T) and yes I can see all fonts list with no problem.
Except here in FCPX or at least on this section.
How can I rest my preferences?

Feb 24, 2016 6:57 AM in response to Alberto Marbanby coligreens,This has been happening to me forever. Its really annoying. I just gave up on fixing it. The only reason I can think that this happens is because of the amount of fonts I have available. The same thing happens in Motion. It doesn't seem to slow down photoshop or illustrator or any other app that i can change the fonts in.
