Q: Missing Windows 7 disk icon after creating new partition

gdisk wont install. It says . This package is incompatible with this version of osx?

Just to let you know. I can see the windows boot camp in Finder and its files also its in Start up disk window.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. As I can access my boot camp files through finder, I copied them on to an ext hdd then booted in recovery mode to delete and re take the partition but it would not let me, tried so many ways but to no avail, So I disconnected the hdd in the laptop and re booted and tried again and it let me take control of the partition, so I reformated it to extend the main logical drive.

I will certainly think twice about installing beta software on the same hdd as my bootcamp.

Is it possible to install bootcamp on a separate hdd?
