When I plug in my monitor to my mac (Using an hdmi to lighting adapter), I get display options for the monitor in display settings, but when I look at the monitor, it says that there is no connection to hdmi! I can still move my cursor onto the ASUS screen but I just don't get any visual at all. No flickering, no fuzzing out, just nothing. Help!
Since you posted in the iMac (Intel) forum, need to know which model iMac you are using in order for the knowledgeable users to help you. Your system profile is a complete blank.

My lighting adapter is busted I think. I took it out and connected the strait hdmi to my windows and it worked. But that does not explain how it says that it is connected if it was busted!
