Q: Is there a way to download all iCloud music to my PC at once?

iTunes 12.2.1.16

Windows 10 x64

I recently lost my HDD with my library on it and I am trying to find a way to simply download my whole iCloud music library in one swoop. I really do not want to have to click my mouse about 18,000 times to download every song.

    Greetings sneas,

I am sorry to hear that your computer's hard drive failed, taking your iTunes library with it. As a frequent iTunes user myself I can understand how that could be frustrating. Let's see what we can do to get you your purchased music back.

This article contains the steps needed to re-download your iTunes Store content - Download past purchases from iTunes

In particular see the section titled Redownload a song. Also relevant to you, because you want to get all of your music from the store, would be the section at the bottom titled Learn more.

    In particular -

You can have all purchases automatically download to a device or your computer if you turn on automatic downloads.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

    Be well.

Thank you for your in-depth response Brett,

But I did not see any option in order to download music that was not purchased in iTunes. 99% of my library was burned from my cd collection or purchased from other apps, websites, added to iTunes, then uploaded via match/iTunes cloud. Is there any way to simply download these not being iTunes purchases?

    Good day sneas,

In order to download songs from iCloud, follow the directions from this article - iTunes 12 for Windows: Use iTunes Match to access all your music anytime, anywhere

    In particular -

Play or download songs from iCloud

You can play songs directly from iCloud, or you can download songs so you can play them when you’re not connected to the Internet.

If a song is available in iCloud, it has a Download button Cloud with an arrow pointing down next to it.

    • Play a song: Double-click it.
    • Download a song: Click the Download button.

After you download a song to a computer, it remains in the computer’s iTunes library, even if you turn off iTunes Match.

    • Display only songs you’ve downloaded in your iTunes library: Choose View > Hide Music in the Cloud.

For information about downloading and playing songs on an iOS device, see the documentation for the device.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

    Safe computing.
