Q: How do I hide my music purchases on my iPhone?

I'm not digging the new music app, but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

I'm trying to keep past purchases I made in the iTunes store (music) from showing up on my iPhone. I only want to see music I manually sync'd on to the phone. Some of my past music purchases contain language not appropriate for a child, and my two girls love playing with my phone. But regardless of the reason, is there a way to hide purchases in the Music app? I looked through the settings and cannot find it.

You could do settings> general> restrictions and set one for explicit language. You won't be able to listen to the explicit music without turning off the restrictions though. Yeah, and that's why I've been doing but it's getting to be a hassle (turning it on and off several times a day). I appreciate the link, but you're right...not what I'm looking to do.

Maybe you could make your girls their own clean playlist. And if needed and feasible use guided access to disable the back button.
