Mail app unresponsive.

Hi, I have an iPad 2. Running iOS 8.4. The Mail app is unresponsive. Kindly resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.


If I understand correctly, the Mail app isn't responding on your iPad. Take a look at the article linked below and try the general troubleshooting tips that it provides.

If an app you installed unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open - Apple Support

Restart the app

Close the app and open it again.


Restart your device

Turn your device off and back on.


Check for iOS and app updates

Make sure that you're using latest version of iOS.


If the issue persists, try restoring the iPad as shown here:

Use iTunes to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support

HI,

This is about outlook and not an app, it did not jiggle even if long pressed, not sure if this is normal.

When I click the icon, it tries to open, but auto closes without any error or warning or correction suggestion..

I restarted the device, still the same.

i Can't reset as there is lot of customisation done, can't afford to rework again.

Mail app unresponsive.
