Experience with Touchcopy to retrieve Messages?

Hi,

I'm having a potential legal issue with my employer and I would to have some of our communications that were via text.

I have an iPhone 4 so followme didn't sync with my iPad and mbp. Plus, recently I reloaded my computer so will have to restore from Time Machine or a backup the Messages that were on my macbook.

I'd really like to be able to print out full threads rather than screenshots ... so I've heard about this Touchcopy app and wondering if anyone has experience with it?

Alternatively, can iCloud keep threads of messages? This has just occurred to me....

I love texting but it sure is easier printing out emails for backup in these instances!

I haven't used TouchCopy but I have used PhoneView (Mac). It prints out very nice PDFs with each entry time stamped. I don't believe either TouchCopy or PhoneView will "retrieve" any messages that aren't already on your phone in the Messages app.

Before you do anything, I would recommend you consult your attorney. If you don't acquire information in just the right way, it might make it inadmissible in court.
