How to enter accessory serial number?

I really need to get my earpods replaced or fixed, because I still have a warranty on them and they already don't work in one ear. I can't enter a serial number anywhere because it is "invalid" and also it says enter a serial number excluding accessories. How am I supposed to use this warranty if they system won't accept accessory serial numbers?
