Apple music family sharing account issue

I have been added to my fathers account for family sharing and apple music but when I try to access it on iTunes on my windows laptop it asks me to buy a membership. I do not have a credit card attached to my account and I don't want to add one as I use the family sharing option

Any ideas or advice would be great!

Thanks!!!!

I have resolved this myself. The Apple advisor was stumped and couldnt help!

I got my Dad to add his card onto my account and it allowed me to get a 3 month trial. I then deleted the card from my account and set the Apple Music not to reoccur. (Do this on itunes account settings under subscriptions)

When the trial ends we will use the Family sharing account and set that up.

It appears Apple cannot let you use the family sharing apple music function.

BEWARE that you cancel the other memberships or you could get stung! I guess there will be quite a few people who will get caught out.
