Aug 9, 2015 12:27 PM in response to Dirk53by sperkz,★HelpfulHere's the skinny on FaceTime Use FaceTime with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
In short, If your phone number is on your Facebook account, then they could have gotten it from there. Facebook can sync with Contacts, and (if your privacy settings allow) they can see your phone number.
Alternatively, if:
- you're signed in to FaceTime (see in settings > Facetime)
AND
- your email used with Facebook is also used as one of the emails in FaceTime settings
THEN
they can call you on FaceTime with your email instead of phone number
you can change these settings in settings > FaceTime.
Hope this helps, mate!

Aug 9, 2015 12:54 PM in response to AJ397by Dirk53,Thanks both of you, I didn't realise that. It is a bit strange that someone can call you when you haven't given them you number. I check my settings.
