iPad and new Apple TV not recognised, tried different cables and resetting, still can't get AirPlay on IPAD, wait ages to activate but eventually do it manually, I have changed password as was not recognised.
iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 8.4
Make sure you have the same password in both devices.
On the iPad tap Settings > iTunes & App Store. Tap your Apple ID > View Apple ID
On your Apple TV go to Settings > iTunes Store > Apple ID
As for AirPlay, go to Settings > AirPlay
Tap the gray circle (Select) in your Apple TV remote once to turn AirPlay off or on.
Thanks, I have tried that however AirPlay still does not show up on IPad control.
spend hours going through the support but still fails to recognise
Your Wi-Fi connection is working ok?
Your iPad and Apple TV must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
WI-fi connection good, both items connected to the same network, I will try again tomorrow thanks
