Star rating in playlist view

Is there a way to add a column, such as star rating, to the playlist itself?

Enable the Ratings column.

SElect your playlist, choose to view it By Song. Right-click on any of the visible column headings, then choose Ratings from the pull down list.

Recent builds of iTunes have introduced a new Playlist view which is the initial view of any playlist. Use the drop down control under the search box to change to the Songs layout. You should then be able to right-click on the column headings to add or remove columns and choose one to sort on.

Drop down control under the search box? Do you mean Edit playlist? I do not see any drop down control. Itunes 12.4.3.1

Cool, could you help me by making a video or showing screenshots or giving a better description.. I cant figure it out.. I did figure out how to change to songs view, so you can change the rating but is it possible to add rating in playlist view?

In the playlist view the ratings are shown just to the left of the track times. Empty ratings and hearts are shown on hover or if you select a track.

Thank you... this solved my issue. I guess Apple is no longer simple and pleasurable. Now we have to look for directions like this to do everything. Back to basics Apple! Come on!
