Q: Why can't I delete in my email - I can't bcc anyone

I am using an IMac OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.4 and I am having trouble with the mail program - I can't delete within my email and my cursor won't go back to a point within my email - also I can't add in BCC - not sure why but this has been going on for a few days now -

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
