If you haven't created a backup before restoring your phone, I'm afraid you can't restore the data.

Not exactly true. Again, it depends on what "personal info" the OP is talking about. Anything sync'd via iCloud (Photo Stream, Messages, Calendars, Contacts, etc.) do not need a backup to be restored to the device. That is why I asked the OP for clarification....
