First, you have to click every item you want to download, with over 5000 items this would be a PITA. Second, when you do click on multiple items to download they download with random file names and no extensions. All I want is for the photos to have the file name as the date they were taken, have a .jpg file extension and the be able to bulk download without having to click on each individual file.

Problem with just copying them via USB is Apple saves the files with random file names in a random file structure. I really want them to download with the date taken as the file name, as they are displayed in apple devices.
I can't help but think apple have come up with a convoluted file structure to make it difficult to view/navigate the files on anything other than an apple device.
