Q: No free space on IPad Air after update to V8.4anyone
i updated a 16gb IPad Air to v.8.4. At start of update, there was 1.2gb free space. After update, there was 660mb free space. Nothing added or changed on iPad, then got message that there was no free space.
DEleted a couple of apps so there was 450mb free. Again, didn't add anything, and got message again re no free space.
HHas anyone else had this problem?
ANy ideas to fix it?

Go to Settings > General > Usage and see what is taking so much memory. You can then decide what to delete.
Also you can connect your iPad to iTunes on your computer and on the Summary page at the bottom you will see a Usage bar. If there is a large amount listed as Other there are options. Other is a cache that grows over time and you can reset it as follows:
Backup your iPad to iTunes and then disconnect it, go to Settings, General, Reset and Reset All Content and Settings. After it completes (it takes some time) you can go back to iTunes and restore your iPad with the backup you made. This will clear that cache. The drawback to this is that it takes time, about an hour or so but you would be freeing up space. This will restore your phone to new condition and you will not loose any data or settings as long as you do the backup first and restore from it.
