Aug 10, 2015 10:10 AM in response to mamaamcby LarryHN,There have been several reports of this in the last few days
where are you located? Does the project preview correctly? Preview a print project in Photos, iPhoto, or Aperture to avoid issues - Apple Support

Aug 10, 2015 1:40 PM in response to LarryHNby mamaamc,I am in the US. The project does preview correctly, but I am still not able to upload it. Any suggestions?

Aug 10, 2015 2:44 PM in response to mamaamcby LarryHN,try safe mode (preview again as some fonts are disabled and things might change)
Call Apple and see what the have to say - it seems likely that this is an Apple server issue given the number of posts

Aug 10, 2015 6:18 PM in response to mamaamcby ready player one,Just chiming in that I've had the same issue since August 8 and thought it was me. I tried booting in safe mode, deleting iPhoto preferences, testing my internet speed, rebuilding my iPhoto library, trying at different times of the day and on 3 consecutive days, logging out of my account and back in, resetting my appleID settings…all to no avail. It's almost a relief to hear that someone else is experiencing the same problem uploading an iPhoto book. Hopefully this means it's a problem on Apple's end and I can stop banging my head against the wall looking for solutions on my end.

Aug 11, 2015 3:32 AM in response to mamaamcby lam32canada,Just to add to these posts, I have been having the exact same problem. I have tried all the same fixes. This is bringing me some relief to know that it is a very recent problem and that it is possibly due to a problem Apple is having.
Any updates from Apple?
Does it make a difference that I made an XL Photo Book?

Aug 12, 2015 6:34 AM in response to lam32canadaby SIKerry,I, too, am having the same problem. I hope it will be fixed, as I spent all day creating my book. Otherwise, I'll have to recreate a photo book in Shutterfly and I'd rather not have to do this.
How can you contact Apple regarding this issue?

Aug 13, 2015 3:55 AM in response to mamaamcby ceceille,I am having the same problem. I have made many large books in IPhoto with this same computer and never had a problem. I tried to purchase the latest one Monday morning, August 10 and could not get it to upload. I have tried every suggested fix including booting in safe mode, tethering to my iPhone for a faster speed, extending the power source time to never, etc. I have finally made an appointment to take it to the Genius Bar at the Apple Store but they don't have an opening until tomorrow, Friday, August 14. Very time consuming.
Apple needs to fix this. My order for just this book was almost $400. If I can't get it to work, I'll just order from another book maker.

Aug 13, 2015 5:42 PM in response to ceceilleby ready player one,After 20+ failed attempts over 5-6 days, I finally had success in uploading an iPhoto book. I tried an experiment, and it worked:
1. Make a copy of my iPhoto library.
2. Open the copy in iPhoto and delete everything in it but the book I had created and the photos associated with it.
3. Put the now small library on a USB drive and bring it to work with me.
4. Open the library on my work machine and try to order the book. It worked without a hitch.
At work: 2.4 GHz Core i5 running 10.9.5; network upload speed of 63 Mbps
At home: 2.5 Ghz Core i5 running 10.7.5; network upload speed of 0.6 Mbps
I'm guessing that the 100-fold increase in upload speed at work is what mattered most in getting my iPhoto order to go through. I did this as an experiment to see if network speed was the cause. I can't rely on my employer's network to order books in the future, so if Apple no longer accommodates DSL upload speeds like mine, then it's game-over for me. I'll have to look to other companies to order books.
Good luck to everyone.

Aug 13, 2015 5:53 PM in response to ready player oneby lam32canada,Wow, that's awesome! I'm glad it worked for you.
Unfortunately I don't have this option available to me at all
Anyone else hear anything?
Anyone know of companies that will print our already completed work?

Aug 22, 2015 3:48 AM in response to klg63by ceceille,The Apple Store was unable to upload my book but suggested I upgrade to Yosemite. I did the upgrade and it repaired my photo library. I was able to complete the process and order the book in the new Photos Ap.
