Air drop not working

I have the wifi and bluetooth on. I keep getting a message saying "Unable to Share. There was an error while preparing to share. Please try again later." Any ideas? Thank you!

iPhone 5, iOS 8.4

It is working with photos but not with videos. I have some videos I need to save to my computer and each time I try it tells me there was an error while preparing the file.

Try doing it through iTunes by connecting your phone to the computer. 🙂
