iTunes starts and stops playing music on its own

I woke up at 4 AM a few nights ago to the sound of music - iTunes started playing the radio station I always listen to. Since then, it has done this randomly a few more times. iTunes has never done this before, in umpteen years of using this app. Today it has been stopping on its own also. Not hanging up, just stopping the music. I'm running an iMac, using Yosemite 10.10.4, and iTunes 12.2.1.16.

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how to stop it?

Thank you,

Nancy

I've had this issue too. I am using my iPad mini and have no apps open except for Facebook and all of a sudden either Siri activates for no reason or my music starts playing. It is really annoying. Only started happening with the major Apple music app upgrade a couple months ago. Anyone know how to stop this?
