Well... this is a user forum. To transfer files from Mac to an iPad you can use iTunes or AirDrop. Both are easy to use. What type of files are you talking about? Pictures and Music transfer very well with iTunes as do files for Apps that allow transfer (Adobe Acrobat for instance). For other files AirDrop also works well. Hope this helps...

For instance:
Transfer content from an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to a new device - Apple Support
Basically, Backup your original iPad, and then restore the iPad Air 2 from that backup following the above instructions.
