Q: Apple Watch Activity monitor calculates lower calories
I have compared Appe Watch Activity monitor with FitBit/Digifit/Rhytm+ set up during my work out.
For indoor run Apple Watch calculated only about 30% of calories burnt that FitBit/Digifit/Rhytm+ did.
For StairStep Apple Watch calculated only about 50% what FitBit/Digifit/Rhytm+ did
And for Elliptical Apple Watch did much better calculated about 75% of what FitBit/Digifit/Rhytm+ did.
Did anybody do such comparison?
I think the problem is that AppleWatch heart rate test is inaccurate and it does not know my weight to properly calculate calories burnt.
Any comments/

Hello Rich,
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
I see where you are concerned about differences between the information you are receiving from the Apple Watch and your FitBit. I have a pair of articles that explain how the Activity and Workout apps function and another on calibrating your AppleWatch. Bear in mind that the two apps track activity differently, for example from the Activity article:
If you need both hands while walking, for example to push a stroller, you can still earn Exercise credit by using the Workout app <https://support.apple.com/kb/HT204523>. The Activity app relies on arm motion and an accelerometer to track movement, whereas the Workout app uses a heart rate sensor and GPS. Open the Workout app on your Apple Watch, tap Outdoor Walk, and bring your iPhone on the walk.
