Q: how to transfer from android to mac

I have a new mac with yosemite 10.10.4 I also have a samsung note 4 I am trying to transfer photos from note to mac and I can't seem to find an app that will allow me to do this.

any ideas?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), 2012

If the Android device is set up to look like a normal digital camera then Photos or iphoto will see it as one and import just like form any camera - for help is proper setup of your device read the manual or contact Samsung support of their support forums - it is no a Photos for Mac question in any way

 

A search of these forums might provide some guidance  if other users of your device have posted here
