How to transfer pictures from Samsung galaxy s6 edge to Mackbook pro with retina display?

Download the official Android File Transfer app:

https://www.android.com/filetransfer/

Connect your laptop to your mac (you may have to set your phone as a media device)

If the photos are stored on an SD, card go to the SD card tab, if not just ignore that step

If you put your photos in a seperate folder open the corresponding folder

If not open the folder tilted DCIM or something similar (This folder contains photos and videos taken by your device)

Simply drag and drop onto your desktop
