Q: MY IPHONE 6 WONT COMMUNICATE WITH IMAC

Hi,

as the title, I have a new iMac which I am trying to load all my iPhone 6 photos too.

It will not communicate.

Buetooth will also not pair.

I previously have charged my iPhone on my work windows PC & saved some photos to the PC.

Help appreciated as I have purchased the iMac to be my main hub to store all my families device info photos videos etc..

You can only pair using Personal Hotspot to share Internet connection using iPhone cellular data
File transfer is not part of iPhone BT profile.

Connect your iPhone to the Mac with the dock cable (USB).
Open Mac Photos app and transfer your photos (Make sure you trust the Mac and sign in with the same Apple ID as your iPhone.
You can also use Image Capture found in Mac's Utilities folder.
