Q: How can I back up my phone after I switched sim cards for a new phone

How can I back up my old phone after I got a new number and sim card on it. Mac is telling me invalid sim card. Should I take it out

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.1.2

Greetings Mamobley,

If you are seeing an "invalid SIM" alert for your iPhone, I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article - If you see 'No SIM' alert on iPhone.

Once you have a working SIM card in your iPhone you should be able to complete your backup.
