Q: About This Mac has stopped working after only having this computer for a week so I cannot access my serial number to ask for support to fix this problem.

My new macbook pro About the mack will not open, this means I cannot access my serial number to get support to fix this problem. My receipt does not have the serial number on it.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)

The serial number is on a label on the box. You can also find it on teh computer itself using this Apple article:
