Q: iPhone 5 Microphone picking up taps and blowing but not voice input

Hello all, I have an iPhone 5 that has a microphone issue. upon calling, people can not hear any vocal input unless screaming. Testing it further, it picks up taps and blowing. The Microphone is obviously picking up some sort of audio input.

I have updated the phone hoping to fix this issue, I have done the "tap method" people have used for the top microphone, I have tried cleaning out the microphone holes at the bottom of the frame. I have even swapped out the entire charging flex and have the same issue.

Any thoughts?

After reviewing your post, it sounds like the mic on the iPhone is having trouble. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.
